Not all "copper" rain chains are 100% pure copper
Many of the varieties of copper chains you find on the web are not truly 100% copper. Many are copper coated and have a base metal of some other variety. Copper coated varieties will not develop the patina that 100% copper chains will, and this can adversely affect the look of your chain over time.
All of our chains are 100% pure copper and will age to a beautiful patina over time. In addition, you can be assured that pure copper chains will last a lifetime!
Be careful: online rain chain prices can be deceptive.
You do not always get what you pay for: sometimes you get much less! Many rain chain sellers (even well known large retailers) often take advantage of the fact that you cannot see a rain chain first hand before buying. They will price their rain chains to appear that they are in a higher quality class than they are, when they are actually much shorter, made of less material, and often poorly designed.
Pay attention to weight and length dimensions - if they are not listed, this may be a red flag. All of our chains are made with quality gauge copper and all are at least 8 feet in length. Our chains are asked for by name by discriminating homebuilders.
